Ebay Tips Tricks| Attention Powerseller | How To Manage Negative Feedback In EBay

You think you can make some part time money from Ebay. But sometimes you feel like losing it.

You respond quickly to customer emails and inquiries. You ship items promptly and carefully. And, of course, you're professional and courteous in all your interactions.

But sometimes, despite your best efforts, it happens: Negative feedback.

For no good reason that you can see, somebody leaves a bad review -- accompanied by a scathing comment.

What do you do?

Your first instinct might be to retaliate with a negative and biting comment of your own -- especially if you feel the feedback was unfair. Before you do, take a step back.

eBay research shows that buyers are more loyal to sellers with whom they've successfully resolved a dispute than they are to ones where no problem has occurred at all!

So it's worth learning how to deal with negative feedback gracefully.

Let's take a look at some of the ways you can handle a negative without losing your cool... or even have your feedback score adjusted:

   1. Make sure the negative feedback left is not abusive. If feedback left violates eBay's policies, eBay will remove it.

Visit their Feedback Abuse page to see if your negative qualifies:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html.

If it fits the bill, file with eBay immediately.

   2. Respond publicly to negative feedback comments. The best way to immediately mend any damage to your credibility caused by a negative feedback comment is to post your own explanation in your feedback record.

The key here is to keep it reasonable, and stick with the facts when telling your side of the story. For instance, if the person leaving the feedback didn't contact you first to tell you about the problem, respond by saying what you would have done if they had. Don't be sarcastic or nasty.

Your comment will appear along with the negative one (even if you later get your feedback score adjusted) -- and your potential customers can make their own informed decisions.

Chances are, your potential bidders will be greatly reassured if you've addressed the issue rationally and well.   eBay allows you to post one response to every comment you receive, as well as one follow-up comment. So the next time you get negative feedback, take the opportunity to calmly explain your side of the story.

   3. Talk to your buyer to clear up misunderstandings. Often, negative feedback is left as a result of a misunderstanding or miscommunication -- especially if you're dealing with a newbie who may not be familiar with how things generally work

(e.g., shipping times).

So your best bet is to try to resolve the issue with the other party directly. You can use eBay's buyer and seller forms to contact them and try to come to a mutual understanding. How you approach the buyer can have a huge effect on the outcome.

Use tried and true dispute resolution techniques: focus on the problem, not the person -- and always give your buyer the benefit of the doubt. If you're diplomatic and try to see things from your customer's perspective, you'll be far more likely to get the result you want -- and possibly have the negative feedback withdrawn!

   4. If that doesn't work, leave a negative feedback comment for them. Buyers depend on their feedback scores as much as sellers, and by answering their negative with one of your own, you lay the groundwork for the mutual withdrawal process.   Again, your comment should be reasoned and factual.

   5. Resolve negative feedback issues using eBay's Mutual Withdrawal form. Provided you and your buyer both agree to it, you can use eBay's mutual withdrawal system to have your score adjusted.

If you haven't yet left a comment explaining what the issue was and how it was resolved, now's the time. Once you complete the withdrawal process, you won't be able to post any more comments on the issue (but the existing comments will

remain!).

To start the mutual withdrawal process, go to http://pages.ebay.com/help/feedback/feedback-disputes.html. You can

start this process within 30 days of either person leaving feedback, or within 90 days of the transaction end date,

whichever is later. You will both have to fill out the form separately.

   6. Resolve feedback issues using SquareTrade (or other mediation companies). If you've exhausted all the options offered by EBay, consider hooking up with a mediation service. Square Trade is the most popular and is recommended by eBay.

It's free to file a case. SquareTrade will email your buyer on your behalf, and if they don't get a response,  SquareTrade will automatically adjust your score.

If the other party does responds to those emails, you will be directed to their Direct Negotiation web page to duke it out. Using this method, you can have your feedback rating adjusted, but any negative comments will still remain.

For $29.95, however, you can get a mediator to work with you, which can result in your score being adjusted and the negative comment removed completely.

To file a case, go to www.SquareTrade.com and select the "Dispute Resolution" link at the top of the page.  A negative doesn't have to be the end of the world -- or your credibility. Deal with disputes quickly, with the intention of  reaching a mutual understanding. You just might earn yourself a loyal buyer for life!

Tony Pasco, an eBay PowerSeller we interviewed for our private Secrets To Their Success website, is a prime example. He had four newer eBayers leave him negative feedback. But after he contacted them -- sympathizing with them, but explaining his side of the story -- three of them reversed their feedback!

Another time, Tony had one item damaged in transit. He asked the customer to return it so he could see it, and sent him a brand-new replacement free of charge. His reward? Positive feedback and a comment that outlined Tony's hassle-free solution.

So take your cue from Tony, and turn a bad situation into a positive one!

4 Tips To Double Your Sales and Profits From Ebay

Email is one of the most effective and profitable tools that you have at your disposal to promote your auctions and build your eBay business. It's fast. It's personal… and best of all, it's almost free!

Use email to notify your customers and subscribers of your latest auctions. Use it to keep in regular contact and build relationships with your customers and subscribers. Or use it to direct traffic to your off-eBay website or blog.

(And since very few eBay sellers are using email effectively, you can gain a real competitive advantage if you do it right.)

The best part is that the people who sign up to receive your email notices WANT to receive the information you'll send them -- so they'll be highly responsive to your offers.

So how can you harness the profit-boosting power of email marketing?

There are a number of email management tools you can use to get started -- both on and off eBay. Let's take a look at some of your options...

a. Use eBay's email forwarding system to upsell and promote your listings (or website)

eBay has an email forwarding system you can use to upsell, cross-promote, and push your customers back to your other eBay locations and listings.

Here's how to maximize your customer communications through eBay's email system:
Customize your eBay invoices: eBay emails winning bidders an invoice with their final total, including shipping and handling. From your My eBay page, you can add a note to this email pointing bidders toward your eBay store and other auctions.

Customize your PayPal emails: If you use PayPal, you can also customize the automated emails sent out by PayPal with a personal message and your eBay business logo, if you have one. You do this through your PayPal Account Preferences page.
The only real drawback to using eBay's system is that these emails look just like all the other emails sent out by eBay and PayPal, so they can get lost in the crowd. Here's a sample eBay email:

eBay Store owners, on the other hand, are given much more control over their communications...

b. Take advantage of enhanced email marketing features for Store owners

If you're an eBay Store owner, your email marketing options are even greater. You can:
Create your own email newsletter and send it to people who subscribe through a Favorite Sellers link in your auctions. Depending on your level of store, you can send it for free to up to 10,000 people. After that, it's one cent apiece.

eBay provides templates for you to use when setting up this newsletter, and there are many elements you can add or customize: add your store logo, write your listing, or feature individual store or auction listings, for example. And you can create up to five different mailing lists.

Plus, you can keep track of how many click-throughs you get so you can analyze the success of your campaigns!

Read eBay's help file for more details.

Use Markdown Manager's enhanced email marketing features. If you use Markdown Manager to put items on sale, you can now use it to automatically send customized emails to your Stores newsletter subscribers.

(The number and frequency of these emails depends on your Store subscription limits, however.)

Read more about using Markdown Manager to announce your Store specials.
As you can see, eBay gives store owners more email marketing options. (Yet another good reason to open a store as soon as you can! Article 4 from our April 2007 issue shows you why.)

But even if you don't have an eBay Store, you can still use email marketing to communicate with your bidders and customers. Here's how...

Discover the EXACT system 1,254 ‘Computer Dummies’ have already used to rake in $1,000s a DAY on eBay!

When I started a few months back, I thought that maybe if I was lucky I could earn a few extra dollars a month and fill my back pocket with a bit more spending money. Then one day, I woke up and found I'd received orders for nearly $1,000 from North America, Spain, New Zealand and South Africa!

Nothing beats the feeling I get seeing my PayPal balance increasing every day. I can’t believe how far I've come considering I started out with pretty much nothing – just a vague idea that I wanted to sell ‘something’ on eBay.”

We’ve already shown 1,254 self-professed ‘Computer Dummies’ how to rake in $1,000s per month selling useless “junk” from their closets, basements, and garages on eBay.

To review the system they’re using, and discover exactly how you can start a FREE eBay account today, and earn profits by TOMORROW, click here now...

c. Build your opt-in list so you can communicate with your subscribers directly

You can collect the email addresses of your customers and auction visitors and establish a relationship directly with them. Then you can:

  • Funnel them back to your auctions to buy from you again
  • Offer more products related to their original purchases
  • Direct them to your off-eBay blog or website

There are basically three ways you can maximize your opportunities to keep in touch with your bidders and customers and sell them more items. All three of these strategies are perfectly legitimate, and won't get you into trouble with the eBay "police"...
Make use of your existing opt-in list. You may already have an opt-in list made up of your customers and people who have added you to their Favorite Sellers list. By keeping track of which customers buy which items, you can build a picture of what they are interested in and send them details of relevant auctions.

In the emails that you exchange throughout the buying process, include a line that says, "I may periodically send you details of new items for auction that you may be interested in. If you don't want to receive these emails, please unsubscribe by emailing me."

Under US law, any commercial email you send must include instructions on how the recipient can "unsubscribe" to stop receiving your messages. Fortunately, there's software that makes it easy to manage your list -- you'll learn more about it later.

Drive bidders from your auction listings to an opt-in page. eBay allows you to provide a link within your auction listing that takes visitors to a page on a website off eBay -- but only if that page provides more information on the auction, such as more pictures, item details, or terms and conditions... and only if it doesn't offer the same item for sale.

This means that you can create a listing that includes a link to more images or a more in-depth explanation of your item -- and at the bottom of this page, you can provide an opt-in form that people can use to subscribe to your newsletter.

An opt-in form is designed to capture people's names and email addresses in exchange for something you are offering them, like a newsletter. The collected email addresses are then sent to your email management program and added to your list so you can follow up with them.

Collect opt-in email addresses from your About Me page. Another way you can get people to opt in to your email list is to include an opt-in form on your About Me page. Create a compelling offer by giving away a newsletter or valuable free report to encourage people to sign up.

Then make sure you use every possible opportunity in your auction listings and your eBay Store to encourage people to check out your "About Me" page. For instance, tell them to go to your page to read your FAQs, learn more about the products you sell and find out about more important information, such as your shipping policies.

Use PayPal to create a list of previous clients you can market to. If you have been accepting payments via PayPal, you can create an instant mailing list of previous customers.

If you decide to do this, your first message to your list should explicitly mention why you're mailing them (i.e., because they've purchased previously).

In your first email, make sure you state that they can simply click "Reply" to be subscribed to your newsletter updates. Anyone who replies can be considered to have opted in -- and you can add their addresses to your mailing list! If they don't reply, DON'T continue to email them or you'll be sending spam.

(Even once you've received permission, under US federal law, you must include "unsubscribe" instructions in EACH email you send.)

To get a list of these addresses from PayPal, open your PayPal account and click the History tab, then click Download My History. You can customize the Date Range fields and Export format which you can then save to a third-party software program.

You now have an instant list of customers who have already purchased from you in the past (and statistically, are 30% to 50% more likely to purchase from you again)!

d. Manage your email lists and campaigns automatically!

When you create a mailing list of people's email addresses, you're taking a giant leap beyond almost all of your competitors.

Email marketing is one of the most powerful and inexpensive ways for online businesses to market their products and services. And the best part is that you can use email marketing software to put 90% of your email chores on autopilot so your email marketing almost runs itself!

Using email autoresponder software like Aweber, you can take care of tasks like:
Managing your "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests and removing duplicate addresses

Creating opt-in forms

Adding new subscribers to your list

Personalizing each message

Sending a series of pre-written messages, such as an automatic "thank you for subscribing" email confirmation
... all automatically!

In short, it takes care of all the repetitive email chores that take away precious time that could be spent growing your business.

Is Web 2.0 Social Media Marketing Is Really That Big?

There have been so much talk about web 2.0 and the
traffic that you can generate from it, that I decided
to send you some small tips every once in awhile on
how to get the most traffic from web 2.0 resources.

And yes...you do not have to pay hundreds of dollars
per month either!

You can get some great web 2.0 tips just from reading
the emails that I am going to send you.

Now before I begin with the tips of the day, let me just
reveal one major rule that will always have you earning
tons of traffic from the various web 2.0 properties.

Do you know what this one rule is?
Well, you probably do because it is so simple that I am
even embarrassed to talk about it.

So what is the one rule that is the foundation for bringing
in thousands of visitors from web 2.0 resources?

Well, the one major rule that you must always remember
is to NEVER stop socializing.

Always use these web 2.0 properties to interact with others
across the internet world. You want to build relationship and
trust. And one powerful way to build trust is to always show
yourself friendly.

So remember, to always socialize and interact with others.
Now that we got that out of the way, let me explain the
first few tips in this web 2.0 series.

The first tips involve the use of Squidoo and Hubpages.

Tip #1: Goal is to create 50 different lens and 50 different
hubs per market that you are in.

=> In other words, you want to create 100 pages of content
that have the sol purpose of promoting the product or service
that you are trying to promote. Having these numbers in mind
will help you dominate a small chunk of your target market and
send alot of traffic to your site.

50 Squidoo Lenses + 50 Hubpages = 100 Web 2.0 Content Pages

If you resolve to create 2 pages a day(lens and a hub), you
should be able to get this done within 2 months.

PS. Just focus on implementing this one tip and I guarantee
you that you will see alot of traffic! Just 2 a day is all it
takes!

Tip #2: Point a few backlinks to your Squidoo and Hub Pages

One of my goals is to try and point at least 7 one way links
to each of my lens and hub pages. This is one sure way to
help you secure the search engine rankings of each of your
lens and hubpages.

You can hire someone to do this for you at Elance for about
$5 to $10 per one way link - depending on the quality and page
rank of the incoming links. This is why I am able to get high
rankings fairly quickly. I just outsource this work to some of my
workers and I concentrate on doing other things!

But I usually get this work done for about $4 per incoming
one way link....and this is mainly why I have high Google
rankings for hundreds of different keywords.

This link building work is usually done within a week and can
give you high google, yahoo, and msn rankings fairly quickly.

Tip #3: Spy On The Top Lenses

Go to Squidoo and analyze some of the top ranked lenses within
the market that you are currently marketing in. See what topics
they are writing about. Get ideas from them and then create
a hubpage around that same topic.

In other words..you are taking the best from Squidoo, and
transferring it over to Hubpages.

So that is all the tips I am going to reveal right now. You
will receive another email shortly on some more web 2.0 tips
that you can utilize.

Specific Words That Can Help You Sell More From Your Website

This is not a wishy-washy philosphical post. It's about the real truth of the power of words that can increase your sale an specifically, answering the questions, "Which Words?"

"Words are more powerful than atom bombs" -- someone famous once said that, and the quote has stuck with me for years.

When it comes to selling online, that's definitely true... Because NOTHING can explode your sales like the words you use in your salescopy.

If you think the old adage "pictures say 1000 words" works for online marketing, guess again!

According to the Eyetracker III study -- in which researchers used special "eyetracking" technology to study how people tend to view web pages -- visitors almost ALWAYS look at words before they look at images.

That means you'd better make sure your words say something that hooks their interest!

An eye-catching, benefit-filled headline, followed by powerful copy that compels your visitors to read down the page, can mean the difference between 1000s of dollars in sales each month -- or 100s of dollars each month.

Which do you want to see on your monthly bank statements???

But it's not just WHAT you say -- it's where you say it.

Research studies show that visitors on a web page tend to focus most of their attention on the left 1/3 of headlines and text blurbs, and scan over the rest.

What does that mean to you?

It means you've got to use your most powerful, most captivating words at the BEGINNING of your headline, subheadline, and introductory paragraph -- not in the middle or end.
(The same rule applies to blog post or article titles and introductory paragraphs -- you've got to start them off with a bang!)

So instead of writing a headline like...

Dog obedience expert explains how you can
Completely have your puppy housetrained in just 3 days
After reading this report, you'll never have to
Clean up another "accident" again!

Rewrite it so the most compelling words are all on the left, like so:

Discover the secret tricks "dog experts" use to...
Housetrain your puppy
In 3 days
or less!

No more "accidents"... and no more smelly messes to clean up!

In the first example, the most eye-catching phrases are, "Dog obedience," "Completely have," "After reading this," and "Clean up another."

In the second example, the attention-grabbing phrases are, "Discover the secret," "Housetrain," "In 3 days," and "No more 'accidents.'"

Can you see how the second example gets the most important ideas across right away?

Remember, you only have a maximum of 10 seconds to grab your visitors' attention and compel them to stay on your site. You have to make every second count by "wowing" them with the words that make them want to keep reading.

As always, whenever you make a change to your website, be sure to split-test the old version against the new to see which gets the best results.

But if you keep on making minor tweaks, and building on your improvements, I guarantee you'll see an atomic explosion in your sales numbers!

Seven Ideas For Your First EBook Information Products

Last week I wrote about how information -- in the form of eBooks -- was THE best thing to sell in 2008.

After all, when you sell an eBook, you can make countless duplications of it at NO additional cost. Your manufacturing, stocking, packaging AND delivery costs are non-existent.

That means your profit margin is 100%!

But did you know that you can multiply the profits of an existing business by giving an eBook away -- for FREE?

"How can you make money by giving something away for free?" you ask?

It's simple... you create a free eBook stuffed with tons of valuable information, and then use it as a VIRAL marketing tool, encouraging people to download it, read it, and share it with their friends.

Once people see the value you're giving away for free, they'll want to pass it on to their friends - and word about you and your business will spread like wildfire through the online community.

Done right, this strategy can give you a strong personal AND professional reputation online, while creating plenty of visibility for you and your business.

And it can drive a ton of new visitors to your website... resulting in a huge increase in sales of your product!

(In fact, you can even use a free viral eBook to promote the eBook you're selling. The quality of the information you offer in your viral eBook will go a long way to persuading potential customers that your main eBook is well worth the price.)

Best of all, a viral eBook is a FREE advertising tool.

You don't need to pay to get it in front of potential customers, because they'll already be sharing it with each other. They'll email their friends a copy... or send a copy to a coworker through instant messaging... or post it on a blog or forum... and your message will spread across the Internet while you sit back and watch.

Okay, so you're excited about using a viral eBook as a marketing tool, but you still have one main question:

... What on earth can you write about???

Here are seven proven ideas you can use to get started creating your own free viral eBook today:

Idea #1: Industry update report
If major changes have recently happened in your industry -- or if there are any major developments on the horizon -- an industry update report can be a great way to get your name associated with these hot new trends and developments.
This is a great way to make a name for yourself within your industry. And when the trend heats up, you can bet that the number of people reading and sharing your eBook will skyrocket, too.

Idea #2: Industry resource guide
A resource guide can be really helpful to people who are just getting started in your industry, or who are looking for new contacts, ideas, or opportunities.
By writing this type of guide, you can develop a strong reputation for yourself as a reliable "industry insider" whom people can approach when they're looking for resources. And when the time comes for them to buy a product or service, you can bet that YOU will be the first person they turn to.

Idea #3: Interviews with industry experts
Everyone loves to hear what the leaders in their industry are doing. After all, one of the best -- and fastest -- ways to become successful is to follow in the footsteps of those who've already achieved incredible success.

It's easy to create an eBook that's made up of a collection of interviews. All you have to do is send out a few emails to people in your field and ask them to share their experiences with you. People love to talk about what they do.
Plus, with this type of eBook, you'll have 100% exclusive, original content - which is sure to appeal to your potential readers!

Idea #4: Special tips from industry insiders
This variation on Idea #3 can be another great source of valuable content. Instead of interviewing experts, you simply contact them and ask for their tips on how to solve common problems and overcome obstacles in your field. Then, group the tips by topic and you'll have a book of "insider tips" that's sure to be a hit.

Idea #5: "How-to" instruction guides
Of course, if you're something of an expert yourself, there's no need to consult with other experts to create your eBook! Go ahead and write your own eBook that teaches people a hard-to-learn skill or helps them get started in your field of expertise.

Idea #6: User manuals for hard-to-use products
If you have expert knowledge or lots of experience with a product that's hard to use, you could create a start-to-finish user manual or beginner's guide that helps new users get up and running with the product. If it's a product that's just starting to grow in popularity, your eBook will be sure to create a buzz.

Another variation on this idea is to create an eBook that lists alternate uses for common products and explains how people can start using them in new ways. For example, you might write a guide that lists 10 little-known uses for iPods, or 10 creative ways to recycle your old computer equipment.

Idea #7: Reviews of industry products
Product reviews are becoming indispensable resources in the online shopping community.

People love to read reviews of products before they buy them - so if you've tried out some popular products that would appeal to your market, you've got some great information to include in your eBook.
So there are some ideas to get you started... Choose the one that appeals to you most and run with it!
Just remember that when you create your eBook, you'll want to use software that allows you to...

1. Track the number of copies distributed

-- and --

2. Capture reader contact information
After all, you're going to want to know how popular it is with your audience, and how many people end up sharing it with others.

And of course, you'll want to stay in contact with the people who have downloaded it. They've demonstrated an interest in the information you have to offer -- and that means they've just identified themselves as great potential customers!

Your viral eBook will help you gain a "sales force" of thousands of enthusiastic people who recommend your eBook to everyone they meet... helping you build a rock-solid reputation for yourself.

And you can bet that when these potential customers are in the mood to make a purchase that's related to the subject of your eBook, you're one of the first sources they'll think of!

Read This and Save $100 Due to 'pancake' Mishap (If you are going to buy Derek Gehl Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet For Big Discount

I just got an email from Derek Gehl I had to tell you about.

Get this...

Apparently, a whole stack of boxes containing his "Insider
Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" courses
fell over, and almost landed on one of his employees!

(I can see the headlines now: "Internet marketing guru turns
warehouse employee into human pancake.")

Keep in mind that just one of Derek's courses contains
850+ pages, plus DVDs, CDs, booklets, and tons more...
So having one of them landing on your head would NOT be
pleasant!

Anyway, Derek told me his employee was ok... but his courses
weren't so lucky. Apparently most of them were slightly
*damaged* from the tumble.

A few scratches here and there, the odd dent, maybe a bent
page. Bummer!

But Derek is famous for being a perfectionist, and he thinks
those copies of his step-by-step "Insider Secrets"
course are not quite pristine enough to sell at the regular
price.

... So he's going to give them away at a HUGE discount!

http://www.marketingtips.com/hugediscount/t/923527

Just in case you haven't heard of "Insider Secrets"
before, here's what you need to know:

This Internet marketing "bible" has been the best-selling
guide to how to grow your own money-making Internet business
from scratch for more than 10 years running for one reason --
the strategies inside WORK! -- and it's been updated with
brand new strategies for 2007.

So if you're willing to overlook the odd scratch on the cover
or the occasional dog-eared page, this is your chance to get
your hands on the exact same information that 1,000s of regular
folks have already used to generate full-time incomes of
$50,000... $100,000... even $250,000 (and more!) per year on
the Internet from the comfort of their own homes...

... And you can get the blueprint they followed for a small
fraction on the regular price they paid!

There's just one catch: Derek only has 267 'damaged'

What Products Are In Demands Online in 2008!

Every week, we get dozens of emails asking the exact same question: "Help! What should I sell online?"

Now, at IMC we're not going to tell you exactly what product you should sell to make great money on the Internet.
(After all, if we told the thousands of you who read this blog to start selling "Product X," then you'd be facing quite a lot of competition, wouldn't you???)

But what we will do is tell you exactly what TYPE of product you should be selling, if you want to reap the greatest profits from all your online efforts.

And that type of product is...?

INFORMATION.

Yes, you read that right. Information is by far the most profitable kind of product you can sell online.

Why?
Think about it for a moment... What do the vast majority of Internet users go online to search for?

That's right. Information. Which means that by selling highly sought-after information on your website, you're giving people exactly what they're looking for!

And that's a recipe for online success.

Here are some more reasons why information is the best type of product to sell on the Internet...

When you sell "hard" products that require physical delivery, you have to deal with the cost and hassle of manufacturing, stocking, and packaging -- not to mention shipping your product. And all those things take a serious bite out of your profit margin.

However, when you sell information -- in the form of an electronic "eBook," for example -- once you've created your master copy, you can make countless duplications of it, at NO additional cost. Your manufacturing, stocking, and packaging expenses are non-existent!

And because you can deliver your electronic eBook instantly to your customers, your shipping costs are zero, as well.

That means your profit margin is 100%!

Your customers will be especially attracted by the promise of instant gratification. They won't have to wait days (or even weeks!) for their product to arrive -- it'll get downloaded to their desktop in just a minute or two, which means they can start accessing that information right away.

And once your website is up and running, you can automate your entire business so it takes just an hour or two a week to run! You can set up your order form and "shopping cart" system to automatically process the order, put the money in your bank account, and electronically deliver your product to the customer. It's the perfect "hands-free" business!

... And you don't even have to be a writer!

To create a best-selling eBook, you don't even have to be a professional writer! You can hire someone else to do the writing for you. Simply tell them what topics you want your eBook to cover, and then let them go to it.

(A great place to hire writers who won't charge you an arm and a leg is www.elance.com.)

Or, if you're just starting out and don't have any extra money to invest in product development, you could create an "interview compilation" book. All you have to do is interview various leaders in your industry then type up the interviews and put them all together in your eBook.

For example, if you want to sell a book on how to house-train a puppy, interview three or four well-known dog trainers in your area. Then type up the transcripts of the interviews and put them together in an eBook.

You could even consider compiling articles written by other people that focus on a particular topic of interest to your customers. Maybe there are already a bunch of articles online that talk in detail about the different ways to house-train a puppy.

All you have to do is get permission from the original authors to reuse their content, put all the articles together into an eBook, and ta-da! You've got a product on your hands.

How do you get permission from the authors?

Simply explain to them that your eBook will provide great publicity for them and let them know you are planning to widely distribute the final product. Make sure they understand they'll receive full credit for their work and that their contact information will be made available to readers (along with mention of other products and services they might offer).
Once you have compiled all of the contributors' work, you should have a highly valuable publication on your hands. And you didn't have to write any of it yourself!

The FASTEST way to be making good money online

You can write a profit-generating eBook -- and build the site to sell it -- in as little as 2-3 weeks. There's no faster way to make a solid income selling your very own product online.
And once your site is up and running, you can get feedback from your visitors and customers and start testing new ways to sell to them, so you can perfect your product and your sales process so it's making maximum profits in the minimum amount of time.

But that's not all... Once your eBook business is truly booming, you can start adding more products on to the back end, which you can then sell to your customers and boost your profits still higher!

So that's my best possible answer to the never-ending question of, "What do I sell online?"
